Jackfruit comes from mulberry family. It has thorny projections outside and soft flesh inside which is intensely sweet and delicious in taste.

It is mostly found in South East Asia and finds its origins in India. Thailand and Vietnam are the largest producers and exporters of this fruit.

Jackfruit is found in many varieties across countries and continents and is classified based on the softness of its flesh.
